Zhongwei Shares announced that the company and Xiamen Xiangyu Signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on December 25, 2021. The two sides decided to establish long-term close cooperation in the areas of raw material supply assurance, nickel resource development cooperation and supply chain assurance cooperation.
According to the agreement, both parties agree to establish a long-term and stable supply and marketing relationship of nickel and cobalt raw materials, and it is expected to realize the nickel and cobalt raw material supply cooperation of about 80,000 tons of nickel metal and 15,000 tons of cobalt metal during the five-year period from 2022 to 2027. In addition, both sides will actively promote long-term cooperation in the integrated operation of laterite nickel resource development, smelting and ternary precursor production in Indonesia, so as to maximize resource development and utilization in resource sites and reduce operating costs.
